About

Circus is a beautiful collision of cabaret restaurant and cocktail bar nestling in the heart of London’s vibrant Covent Garden. Our highly popular Pan-Asian menu, created and overseen by Executive Chef Andrew Lassetter, is designed for sharing. The stylish surrealist interior, transports guests into a decadent world of glamour and escapism from the moment they enter, with the highlight; a striking quartz 'Stage' table seating up to 28 guests dominating the room. As evening descends, the restaurant comes to life and the spectacle begins as diners sip exotic punches and cocktails whilst beautifully skilled performers twirl magically in suspended hoops and wow the crowd. The adventures continue after dinner as the music is turned up and the dancing begins. Entertainment accompanies dinner every evening we’re open including Saturday afternoon’s.

Questions

Before you arrive

  • Do you run a guest list?

During the week guests are welcome to join us for a drink and to watch the entertainment from the bar and lounge area.

On Fridays and Saturdays we operate a guest list for the bar and lounge from 10pm, to add your name go to our bookings page and select guest list. Please note this does not guarantee entry as management reserve the right to refuse entry on arrival.

  • Is there a dress code?

We ask that guests make an effort when visiting. There are no hard and fast rules (smart jeans/trainers are fine) but the higher the ladies heels / the sharper the gents suits, the better.

  • Do you accept hen / stag parties?

We very strictly don’t accept any hen or stag party bookings (or any large single sex group bookings) at Circus. We implemented this policy a while ago as we found that the balance and atmosphere of the restaurant was greatly compromised by lots of large single sex groups, and it made for an uncomfortable dining experience for smaller parties. To maintain the friendly and relaxed atmosphere of the venue we stick tightly to this rule and will not admit entrance any guests attempting to bypass this. The largest single sex booking we can take is for 8 guests with no exceptions.

  • Do you have any age restrictions?

We are an over 21 venue however we welcome ages 15 and over for early Saturday bookings between 4:30pm but from 7pm we return to our usual over 21 policy.

  • What are the office opening hours?

    Monday to Saturday 9am – 6pm.

  • Can I cancel my booking?

If you do need to cancel, we require at least 24 hours notice for groups of 8 or less. Without this notice, we will charge £25 per head. Credit card details are automatically erased by our system a day after a booking. For group bookings of 9 and over please note deposits are non-refundable and will be retained.

  • What if I'm late?

Unless we receive notification from you that you are running late for your reservation, we unfortunately will be obliged to release your table for other guests fifteen minutes after your booking time.

  • What if I don't turn up?

We take credit card details for all bookings. If you do not show and fail to cancel we will make a charge to your card of £25 per person.

  • Can I book a particular table?

We take reservations for dinner at our ‘stage’ table for 12 to 28 guests. Our other restaurant tables (each with a great view of the entertainment) seat between two and fourteen people. Please note that we do not take specific table requests aside from the stage.

  • What time is entertainment?

Entertainment pops up during the night in short, sharp bursts. There are no set times, but most dinner bookings will catch two – three performances.

Dining & Drinking

  • What is the stage table?

The stage is our truly unique dining table which seats up to 28 guests (We take reservations here for groups of 12 plus). The table is exactly as its name suggests, the focal point of our nightly entertainment and at weekends, doubles up as an extended glittering dance floor.

  • Can I ask for a particular table?

Sorry but unfortunately not. Many of our guests join us to celebrate special occasions and often ask for special or specific tables. It is impossible for us to accommodate all of these requests so to be fair to all guests, we do not accept any requests whatsoever.

  • Can I come along for drinks only?
